Sprouts class descriptions:
Music: Join us for a structured music class with sing along songs, hand instruments, movement, color scarves, parachute, puppets & toys, and bubbles! Perfect for sprouts of all ages!
Music-in-the-Park: Summer session only! We take all of the Sprouts fun outdoors for this music class! We will sing all of our favorite songs, play instruments, play with the parachute, color scarves, toys--and of course--bubbles! Rainy days will be held at the Sprouts location.
Advanced Music: Introduce your little sprout to the wonder of instruments. Each week, we will learn about and how to play a new instrument. The class will still include elements of our Sprouts Music class such as movement, the parachute, and of course, bubbles!
Language Music: Take your little sprout on a journey across the world through music. Learn to say hello & goodbye, count, sing the alphabet, learn the animal names, colors, and more in a many different languages! Classes will still include elements of our fun music class (parachute, storybooks, instruments, and bubbles!)
Shabbat Music: Sing the Shabbat blessings and learn popular Shabbat songs sprouts-style! We'll still play with bubbles, instruments, and the parachute! We'll end each class singing blessings and sharing a challah with our friends.
Baby Signs: Babies want to communicate with you the day they are born. Learn to communicate with your little one before they are verbal. This class will help you communicate basic and specific words to help you and your baby navigate through the day together. The class also includes elements of our other classes, such as music, instruments, bubbles and more!
Sports for Sprouts: A very active class introducing a variety of sports activities including soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball and golf. Little sport stars will be exposed to the basics for a variety of sports, such as hitting a ball with a bat, kicking the soccer ball, making baskets for basketball, and running touchdowns for football! The children also have time in the gym to run, jump, climb and play. Later in the session, after the children learn their basic skills, the children will then engage in actual game play using the skills they have learned.
Gym & Music (10-20m): Babies learn something new about their bodies every day. This program prepares and supports your little sprout as they face new challenges. We'll help their little muscles grow with work on ramps, inclines, balls, and tunnels as they make their moves from sitting to standing and crawling to cruising. Their smiles will grow as big as their muscles!
Gym & Music (12-24 m): Perfect for your cruising sprout! Its a mix of tumbling, climbing & jumping. Sprouts will exercise their bodies up and down ramps, stairs and inclines. They will move under and over bridges, through tunnels, around obstacles, and jump down the tumble track! What a great way to work out that extra energy!
Gym & Music (2-3 yr):Busy kids work out their extra energy and build their strength, balance, and coordination. Theyll navigate the obstacle courses, swing on bars, somersault down the ramps, bounce on the tumble track, and spring (board) right through 45 minutes of fun exciting exercise and physical activity! We'll engage the class in group activities, such as the parachute and movement games.
Advanced Gym (3-5 yrs, Drop-off): Your sprout will work off their afternoon energy in our Advanced Drop-off Gym class! Children will run, jump, climb, slide, tumble, somersault, and navigate their way through obstacle courses. They will bounce out extra energy on the tumble track and engage in group activities, such as the parachute and movement games.
Ballerina Tea Party: Little Princess Ballerinas will learn basic ballet techinque while engaging in various activities and using dancing props. The class ends with a mini tea-party for all of the girls. Tu-tus are provided but are not required for class. Girls should wear comfortable clothing for moving around (leotards are not required but are so cute!). Be sure to invite friends and family for their last class dance recital.
Hip-hop Dance: Your little dancer will learn some cool moves to their favorite rock songs. Children will use a variety of dancing props and engage in group activities to help them learn their moves. Pom-pom Cheer & Dance: Perfect for the child that loves to move, dance, and cheer at all of the fun Chicago sporting events! Children will use a vareity of dancing props including pom-poms and engage in activities that facilitate learning the cheers. Children should wear comfortable clothing--cheer gear is not required--but so cute. Be sure to invite friends and family for their last class dance recital. Go Cubs Go! Chicago Bears Bear Down!
Mini Monet Art: Perfect for the family that wants to make the art mess--but not in their home! The class begins with a storybook which sets the theme for the day. Children are exposed to a variety of materials and explore shapes, colors, and textures while making a few projects each class. Your sprout will gain self-confidence each week as they bring home the projects they made at Sprouts!
Storybook Creativity: Your sprout will begin class engaging in a fun and exciting story. Their imagination will hop them onto the pages of the book as they act out the story with their friends using music, dress-up, and imaginative play. Throughout the session the stories will come to life with all of the animals in the meadow room, under the sea in our water room or they will explore their next adventure in our preschool and art room. This class focuses on all creative mediums: ART, IMAGINATION, PLAY, MUSIC, DRAMA, READING, and MOVEMENT.
Basics: Make certain your little sprout blossoms in pre-school! We have developed a program that mimics the pre-school experience with structured classes that focus on basic concepts, such as colors, numbers, and animals through music, art, stories, and imaginative play.
Little Basics: Similar to our structured music class with an emphasis on the beginning stages of learning some of the "basics"--colors, numbers, animals, and the alphabet! We still enjoy fun with instruments, the parachute, bubbles and more!

If you don't see the class type/day/time that works for your schedule, let us know ~ we may be able to create a class for you and your friends!
1. Pick the day/time and the class type you'd like for your little sprout and we'll put it on the schedule.
2. Bring your playgroup, neighbors, and friends to class. We'll open the class to other families, too!
